Moduleur DIY is live
As you might remember from our last newsletter, we've spent the past couple of months on the invisible part of building instruments: cleaning up schematics, refining enclosure files, testing, redrawing and re-measuring, and occasionally raising our blood pressure when something did not work until it finally did.
Now we’re ready.
The Moduleur DIY files are officially out. If you’re up for the challenge, all design files, including a DIY version of the enclosure, are available so you can build your own.

What all those files turn into

This is the object at the end. Not an overcomplicated Eurorack monster, but a very usable analog synth with a warm, fat sound, ready to be played.
The enclosure is made of FR4 fiberglass, the same material as the PCBs which can be ordered just like a PCB.
What if you want to buy one?
We know many of you are here because you want to buy a Moduleur, not solder one. The DIY release does not replace that, it simply means that anyone up for it can now build one from scratch.
We are preparing a few small drops of the Moduleur. Same instrument inside, in a massive aluminum enclosure with custom faceplate designs, assembled by us in the shed in Budaörs.
Talk soon.
Cheers,
Zimo & Flame
