Waitlists

Processing of Data via Tally

To manage our waitlist subscriptions, we use the form service Tally, operated by Tally BV (Ghent, Belgium).

Data Processed: When you sign up for our waitlist, the information you enter into the form (e.g., your email address, name, and timestamp of consent) is transmitted to and stored on Tally’s servers.

Purpose: We use this data solely to maintain a record of your waitlist subscription consent.

Legal Basis: The processing of this data is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us directly at shmoergh@gmail.com.

Data Residency: All data collected via Tally is stored on secure servers located within the European Union (specifically hosted by AWS in the Frankfurt, Germany region).

Data Protection Agreement: We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Tally to ensure they process your data in strict accordance with GDPR requirements and do not share it with unauthorized third parties. Newsletters

Our website and newsletter are powered by the Ghost publishing platform, operated by Ghost Foundation Ltd.

Data Processed: When you subscribe to our newsletter or create a member account, Ghost collects your email address, name (if provided), and metadata such as your IP address and the date/time of registration for security and verification purposes.

Purpose: We use Ghost to manage our subscriber list, send automated newsletters, and provide member-only content.

Legal Basis: The processing of your email for newsletter delivery is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). We also process certain technical data (like IP addresses) based on our legitimate interest in maintaining the security and stability of our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Email Tracking: Please note that Ghost’s newsletter service includes "open" and "click" tracking. This allows us to see if an email was opened and which links were clicked, helping us improve our content. You can disable this by unsubscribing from our newsletter.

Data Residency & Transfers: Ghost Foundation processes data globally. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Ghost ensures a high level of data protection through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as part of their Data Processing Agreement, ensuring your data remains protected to EU standards.
